If your dog's collar leaves a safe zone and is not with an Owner, your dog enters the “Alone Away” Location State, and we will alert you.
THIS ALERT IS MEANT TO BE DIRECTIONAL, IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN YOUR DOG IS "LOST" - ultimately you know your dog's environment and routine best, these notifications can help to alert you to suspicious location activity.
- If you anticipated this change in Location State (i.e. 12pm on a Tuesday when the dog walker normally comes), you can dismiss the notification and go about your day as usual.
- If you did not anticipate this change in Location State (ie outside the window of time the dog walker comes) you can activate GPS and track your dog's collar location.
Remember to keep your dog's Tracking Unit charged and on its collar; if your dog isn't wearing the Tracking Unit or the Tracking Unit is not charged you will be unable to take advantage of this important feature.
